11/8/24 - UPDATE #6 Notice of Closures and Virtual Court Hearings

Due to the snowstorm, some Combined Courts and Probation Offices will be closed or operating virtually on Friday, Nov. 8. We will update as additional information becomes available. 

Closed

  • 3rd Judicial District (Huerfano and Las Animas Counties) Combined Courts and Probation Offices
  • 16th Judicial District (Bent, Crowley and Otero Counties) Courts, Trial Courts and Probation Offices
  • 17th Judicial District (Adams and Broomfield Counties) Courts and Probation Offices
  • Clear Creek County Court and Probation Office 
  • Douglas County Combined Court and Probation Offices
  • Elbert County Combined Court and Probation Offices
  • Lincoln County Combined Court and Probation Offices
  • El Paso County Combined Courts and Probation Offices 
  • Arapahoe County Combined Court and Probation Office will close at noon.
  • Jefferson County Combined Court and Probation Office will close at noon.
  • 15th Judicial District Trial Courts and Probation Offices will close at noon.
  • 20th Judicial District Trial courts and Probation Offices will close at noon.
  • Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center will close at 3 p.m. 
  • Gilpin County Combine Courts will close at 1 p.m.

Operating remotely only

  • The Supreme Court and Court of Appeals clerk’s offices will be closed, and staff will work remotely. All filings should be submitted electronically.
  • The Denver Probate Court will be closed for in-person customer assistance. Remote customer assistance can be provided via email at DPCselfhelp@judicial.state.co.us or by phone at 303-606-2303. Filings may be submitted in person via the drop box located at the Clerk's Office door of room 230.
  • The Denver Juvenile Probation office will be closed, and staff will be working remotely.
  • Teller County Combined Courts will be closed and staff will be working remotely.
  • Mineral County Combined Court and Probation Office will operate virtually. Parties are directed to contact the Mineral County Clerk's Office at MineralClerk@judicial.state.co.us regarding appearances on 11/8/24, including any requests to appear remotely.
  • The Kit Carson County Combine Courts will be closed. Division E will hold their hearings via Webex.

Open and operating virtually

  • Denver Juvenile Court will be open and virtual appearances are also authorized.
