Lynette M. Wenner

Judge Wenner was appointed to the bench effective July 1, 2015. She oversees a variety of cases including criminal, civil, probate and domestic relations.

Prior to being appointed to the bench, Judge Wenner was a partner in the firm of Gillick & Wenner from 1998 to 2015 in Cañon City, Colorado and from 1990 until 1998 in Tampa, Florida.  The firm’s litigation practice focused on domestic relations law, criminal law in both Federal and State courts, probate, guardianships, conservatorships, and general civil litigation.

Judge Wenner was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Dowling College, Oakdale, New York in 1976; a Masters in Education from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona in 1977; an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1983; and a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg, Florida in 1989.
