The Office of the State Court Administrator does not certify or recommend any Child and Family Investigator (CFI) by inclusion on these rosters. Inclusion on these rosters indicates that the CFI submitted a completed affidavit for eligibility as a CFI, passed a background check through processes and guidelines established by the Office of the State Court Administrator, and completed the mandatory CFI training. Judicial districts determine final eligibility for appointment of any CFI listed on the Statewide Eligibility Roster. Inclusion on eligibility rosters should not create an expectation of appointment.
A party considering requesting a CFI should conduct an independent investigation of the CFI's qualifications. Use the links below to check the license and discipline history of a CFI.

You can find more information in the Chief Justice Directives listed and by searching Chief Justice Directives.
CFIs still completing the mandatory 20 hours of DV and CA training will be moved to inactive status effective Jan 1, 2024 and will return to active status after completing their 20 hours of training. CFIs on inactive status may not accept new appointments, though can continue working on existing appointments, absent the appointing court ordering otherwise. Inactive CFI List
