If you are a conservator in another state, and you need to do some specific things in Colorado related to the conservatorship, you can register your out-of-state paperwork in Colorado.

If there is currently a pending case asking to name a conservator in Colorado, you cannot register your out-of-state paperwork in Colorado.

Preparing to Register Out-of-State Conservatorship Paperwork in Colorado

Before you register your out-of-state paperwork in Colorado, you will need to give the out-of-state court notice that you will be registering your paperwork in Colorado. Contact the court in the other state and ask them how you can give them that notice.
