Cara M. Boxberger

Cara Boxberger was appointed as a District Court Magistrate in October 2020.

Prior to her appointment, she worked as a Deputy District Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District focusing primarily in the areas of sexual assault and crimes against children.  She also served in the Seventeenth Judicial District as a Deputy District Attorney from 2009 until 2014.

Magistrate Boxberger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Denver in 2004 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2007.
