Judge Bowling is a 1993 graduate of the University of Denver College of Law. He became a magistrate in October 2006 and was then appointed as a county court judge in Douglas County by the Governor in January 2011. He is currently assigned to a misdemeanor and traffic docket in Douglas County. His prior experience includes a total of seven years of general private practice, as well as two years as a Deputy District Attorney handling child support enforcement cases and four years as an Assistant County Attorney handling dependency or neglect cases.
