Mary C. Hoak

Mary C. Hoak was appointed County Judge in Grand County in 2002 and was appointed to the District Court bench in July 2007.

Judge Hoak practiced law in Grand County for over 8 years prior to her appointment as County Judge, working in the fields of criminal defense, family law, civil law, dependency and neglect, and child support collection. Judge Hoak also worked as a prosecutor in the Fifth Judicial District.

Judge Hoak received her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School.
