Rodney D. Fouracre

The Honorable Rodney D. Fouracre was sworn in as 16th Judicial District Magistrate on November 1, 2021.  Prior to becoming a judicial officer, he served the district as a 16th Judicial District Deputy District Attorney for 23 years, and was elected District Attorney for 8 years.  During his time as a 16th JD D.A., he also served a a Deputy D.A. in the neighboring 10th Judicial District.  Magistrate Fouracre has served as Adjunct Professor at Otero College, East Otero School District Board Member, Vice President of the Colorado Bar Association, President of the 16th JD Bar Association, and numerous other boards and committees.  Magistrate Fouracre is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
