Wedding Information

Weddings are performed by appointment only. A wedding ceremony cannot be performed unless you have a marriage license. You may call for an appointment with the judicial officer prior to actually obtaining your license but you must have it in hand at the time of the ceremony. A marriage license obtained from any Clerk and Recorder’s office in the State of Colorado is sufficient.

There are several judicial officers in the 18th Judicial District who are available to perform wedding ceremonies at the six Courthouses listed below, Monday through Friday. Additionally, most of these judges are available to perform afterhours, weekend, and out of courthouse ceremonies. The judicial officer you contact will give you information concerning availability and fees.
