Protective Proceedings Monitors help monitor and track the requirements of court appointed guardians and conservators in adult and minor guardianship and conservator cases. They review annual and special reports in guardianships and conservatorships to ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant. Protective Proceeding Monitors validate and ensure the accuracy of detailed financial activities, and the proper accounting of assets, to make sure the protected person’s estate is being managed properly. They cannot provide legal advice, but they will work with parties to help correct errors in paperwork and annual reports.
