Summary of Job Classification:
Provides specialized legal administrative support for staff attorneys and judges at the Court of Appeals. Provides legal secretarial support, including creating and finalizing documents, calendaring, workflow coordination and follow-up. Tracks and maintains information on staff attorney office cases. Provides administrative and technical support for senior judges. Compiles data and prepares periodic reports.

Provides specialized administrative support for staff attorneys and judges.
Establishes and drafts templates, captions, opinion, and other documentation for case work. Edits and proofreads artifacts. Helps distributes work products for calendaring and chamber distribution.
Manages case work for staff attorneys. Organizes case lists, coordinates workflow, tracks progress, and follows up to ensure timely competition of tasks. Communicates progress across chambers and staffs.
Creates and presents routine program and statistical reports. Briefs and communicates on behalf senior staff attorney leadership teams.
Assists with onboarding and other Human Resources activities for staff attorneys. Provides technical assistance with PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
Supports the Court of Appeals Clerk’s Office, as necessary. Issues mandates to trial courts on completed appeals.
Coordinates the quarterly Public Access Committee meeting. Organizes all logistics and distributes invitations. Collects and responds to questions from the public. Assists with preparing an agenda. Records and distributes meeting minutes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Equivalency:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
OR
Additional work experience in these or other related fields may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required formal education.
Work Related Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in a paralegal or administrative field.

Physical Effort Requirements:
