Manages technology systems support for Human Resources and is responsible for all aspects of the employee education registration process. Works closely with trainers to stay abreast of class registrations, pre-requisites and class evaluations. Collaborates with the Conference and Event Planner to support various conferences and events as needed. Assists other Human Resources professionals with technology system needs and administration.
The Human Resources Technology Specialist provides technical support and oversight to the training, education and HR systems of the Judicial Department.
Answers questions regarding training information and registration, troubleshoots customer issues and provide needed training documentation upon request.
Monitors enrollment counts, pre-requisites, and current employment status of each participant to determine eligibility for training attendance. Send enrollment verifications, training logistics (date, time, location), and remind participants of enrollment. Monitor compliance with mandatory trainings and distribute completion certificates.
Administers training evaluations, collect responses, and prepare and combine individual data for review. Collect and distribute enrollment data. Assist in interpreting data. When needed make recommendations based on collected data and trends.
Coordinates training schedule with each trainer's individual calendar in order to schedule new and additional trainings. Rearrange and reschedule training calendar.
Provides administrative support for the Judicial Department online Learning Management System and other HR technology systems.
Manages the registration and attendance for events and conferences. Works alongside Conference and Event Coordinator to determine registration needs and that the requirements are met for events and conferences.
Orders training materials, schedules training locations and ensures that the building set up is accurate and that materials are sent to the location in a timely manner.
Co-facilitate some trainings as needed.
Creates and distributes marketing materials for trainings.
Attends meetings and training as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory authority. Occasionally provides lead function, advice, and explains work instructions to other employees or volunteers.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree and one year of office or administrative work. Additional experience in a directly related field such as training, facilitation, HR technology support, or comparable experience may be substituted for the formal education on a year-to-year basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; sit; use hands and fingers and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Occasionally handles emergency or crisis situations; frequently subject to interruptions, and multiple calls and inquiries. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
