Traffic arraignments are our largest volume dockets. As so many people wish to see the District Attorney first, it may take 3-4 hours before your case can be heard by the Judge or handled by the Clerks. Please plan accordingly. Any fines assessed will be due at the time of sentencing.
In Fiscal Year 2019, the Summit Combined Courts handled the following new filings: 362 criminal cases; 469 large civil cases; 118 divorce cases; 53 cases involving juveniles; 63 probate cases; 276 small civil cases; 528 misdemeanors; 5 small claims; and 1,403 traffic cases.
Our courts will be closed for federal holidays.
