Colorado Courts Presents Pathways to the Bench Panel Discussion

October 23, 2025, VAIL, Colo. — For attorneys who are seeking a new professional challenge, serving in a judicial role may be the next bold step in their legal journey. 12th Judicial District Hosting Warrant Clearance Day

4th Judicial District Recovery Court Honors Seven Graduates in Heartfelt Ceremony

Colorado Springs, Colo - The 4th Judicial District Recovery Court is proud to announce the graduation of seven participants from its rigorous and transformative problem-solving court program. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room (W113) at the El Paso County Courthouse, 270 S. Tejon St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

 

4th Judicial District Hosts Community Resource Fair

October 2, 2025, COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Meet dozens of service providers offering resources for employment, housing, recovery, mental health, and more at the annual Community Resource Fair presented by the 4th Judicial District problem-solving courts.
 

The fair will take place inside the west tower of the El Paso County Courthouse at 270 S. Tejon St. in Colorado Springs on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fair is free and open to residents in both El Paso and Teller counties.
 

Colorado Courts Launch Competency Diversion Program After Bill Passage

Sept. 9, 2025, DENVER – The Colorado Judicial Department is introducing a new structure for how courts respond to individuals found or likely to be found incompetent to stand trial, launching new alternatives aimed at reducing wait times for inpatient competency restoration, supporting recovery, and promoting public safety.

17th Judicial District launches new competency docket to address restoration needs and reduce waitlists

May 1, 2025, Brighton, Colo. — The 17th Judicial District has launched a new Competency Docket and Competency Diversion Program addressing the growing number of criminal defendants needing competency restoration services. This innovative docket integrates key provisions of House Bill 24-1355, “Concerning Reducing the Competency Waitlist, and, In Connection Therewith, Creating A Wraparound Care Program and Making and Reducing an Appropriation,” and introduces a new competency diversion program for eligible participants.

19th Judicial District hosting Warrant Clearance Day in Weld County

April 28, 2025, Greeley, Colo. – The 19th Judicial District, in collaboration with Greeley Municipal Court, will be hosting its fourth Warrant Clearance Day on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Weld County Combined Court Centennial Center located at 915 10th Street in Greeley.

Recovery “Drug” Court Program Graduates 12 Participants
